It’s summer and that means it’s camp season. Picking a good, reliable and fun camp for your kids can be hassle. To help you out, we scouted Sherman Oaks and Studio City’s finest camps for kids of all ages. Be mindful, each camp has a unique program and it’s own application. Camp Funtime

Ages: 3 - 13
Camp Funtime prides itself on a safe and fun atmosphere for all of their children. From June 15 - August 7th, Camp Funtime kids are out and active. Daily activities include swimming, karate, yoga, science, rock wall and even field trips. Best of all kids love it. One parent reports, “During my son’s first summer, he told us that Camp Funtime was better that Disneyworld.” Now, that’s tough to beat.
Destination Science Camp

Ages: 5 - 11
Roaring Rockets & Astronaut Detectives
July 13 - July 17
Children work together to explore space from an astronaut’s perspective. Kids start by building their own working rocket. Mid-day launches liftoff rockets up to 1,000 ft. Once kids are done at mission control, they spend the afternoon exploring space as astronaut detectives. Explore your children’s scientific curiosity with the Destination Science Camp.
Dino-Robot Creators and Raging Chemistry
July 27 - July 31
Kids enjoy a morning filled with electric powered robots as the race through the dino-arena. Post-lunch, kids explore chemical reactions to find out what things fizz. pop and glow. Send your kids in for a day of laboratory fun.
Tocaloma Day Camp
Mulholland Drive, Santa Monica
June 22 - August 14
Age: 4 - 14
Tocaloma offers a wide selection of programs for kids of all ages. Each program designed to suit the needs of he child, activities range from themed days, nature walks, leadership programs and more. This community centered camp will leave your kids begging for more outdoor fun and activities as they make friends and participate in activities.
SakenSports Camp

Age: 4 - 12
This premier sports camp has a huge selection of programs year round. Saken Sports Camp prides themselves on preparing children of all ages for the sporting world. Their Traditional Sports Camp helps kids gain the confidence they need to succeed at any level of sporting. Not to mention, swimming, face painting, arts & crafts and more are available while kids play the sports they love. Th even have a Hawaii program for the young aspiring surfers out there
